I am super excited for today's delivery guys!
My makeup brush history consists of the brushes that came with palettes, brush sets from BJs for $9.99-$14.99 after Christmas, and I think I bought a brush from Target once (ecotools), and a few months ago I "splurged" on a sale set of IT Cosmetics brushes at Ulta for like $36. Oh yeah, and the best contour brush I have ever had from Sally's- by Col-Lab. (Which also happens to be the only contour brush I have ever had.)
This delivery is HUGE for me. I love my makeup and I will periodically splurge on that but not the tools to apply it? I have always just dealt with shedding and poor construction, doing my best to make it work. (Ok, I do like MOST of the ones in the IT Cosmetics set...)
Without further ado... look at these beauties! I am looking forward to days ahead of not finding little brush hairs all over my face and clothes and in my nose for hours after application!
Inside the box on top was a full product catalog.Which was nice since the brushes are all numbered- and if you are a dummy like me, it's nice to have the names from the catalog to know what they are really for. Because really, any pointer in the right direction whilst I fumble in the dark, amiright? ***edit: upon closer inspection, the brushes do have the names on them as well, but since they sit handles in the sleeves, I will still be using this as a reference when I play with them for a while.***
Oh! Pretties! My dogs were playing in the background as I lift up the tissue paper and hear angels singing and puppy growls...
They sent a sample of the brush shampoo! (Which I also bought full size and will probably open and pour into the big bottle once I have used it a couple times, not sure yet. Maybe keep it for travel?)
Here we have the SIGMA SPA® EXPRESS BRUSH CLEANING MAT which retails for $25. So pretty and pink. The different textures are neat, and while I haven't used it yet, my first impression is that it's really nice quality and the suction cups on the bottom work well (against the plastic packaging at least.)
They sent this SOFT + SIMPLE MINI BRUSH SET which retails for $12 (a $20 value! it says). It was a GWP (Gift With Purchase) on orders $100+ when I was ordering. Unfortunately that's not the case at the moment, but I am sure they will run the incentive again.
The SIGMAGIC® BRUSHAMPOO™ LIQUID retails for $15, and while I just saw that they have a foam version for the same price... I am still very eager to give this a try. And since I like to wash my brushes before I use them... I will get to try the mat and the cleaner tomorrow!
Oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh! The real deal! The magical brushes! The smell, the softness, the obvious quality and construction! The big fat brush in the middle of the image below feels like the softest bunny ever. They are synthetic and antimicrobial bristles, and all the ones I've actually pulled out of the plastic sleeves so far feel like dreams. I am very excited to get this set cleaned and dried so I can put it to the test! The antici...............................................PATION!

The PREMIUM BRUSH KIT retails for $219 and is currently on sale for $199. And honestly, time will tell, but from my research and the reviews I read and watched, I am really hoping these prove to be worth the expense.
That said, I did not pay full price. Between the sale over the weekend, and the coupon code I had (unfortunately no longer valid), I saved $72 dollars on my order. In my eyes, this haul has so far been a success. :)
As always, any comments are appreciated and questions I will do my best to answer! Have a great day! (it's night time, have a great night!)
